2013 is the year for the English version of MIDI. Its name in English is Master in Research for Design and Innovation, MRDI 2 postgraduate programs:
Postgraduate program in Coolhunting, Design and Global Trends: Where we develop skills and learn techniques for researching and understanding the complex environments that surround communities, products and productive sectors and that determine their future success or disappearance. This program includes multisector visions of trends and research tools from anthropology, sociology, market research, semiotics, art and technology. We also provide business tools to help participants understand and use the language of business and translate the insights into profitable actions and concepts.
Postgraduate program in Innovation and Design Thinking: Here we get hands-on into creating innovation proposals and solutions, for challenges that companies, governments and organizations provide. Most DT techniques and approaches are explored here and also real-life viability and feasibility are encouraged. Empathy, Co-creation, Prototyping and Iteration are used to produce, user centered solutions that accomplish sustainability criteria.
Since 2011, non-spanish speakers have joined the program with the enthusiasm to learn but dealing with difficult challenges during some theoretical classes, written reports, debates or public presentations. we appreciate their effort and they are the main reason for creating a full-english version of MIDI that in English will be called MRDI. We have chosen bilingual instructors and international guests that will provide great contents, projects and activities to the program, working in a great team with our current teaching staff. Elisava welcomes non-spanish speakes, to enroll and explore the world of innovation with us starting this year and for many year in the future.
We are all very happy to start this new chapter with new projects and partners.
